Drawing from the iconic 1980’s workout style, the Delta acknowledges and celebrates that pivotal era when sportswear was elevated from a niche product to a lifestyle, when performance and fashion became blurred.

Hand Painted Collection:
Utilize unique methods of brand ethos art + craft to story tell and convey a hand-touch feel to the product
Approach: Hand Painted veg-tan painted with a base layer of white left in the sun for 3-4 days then using various paint techniques for customization

Brief: Create a winterized silhouette that can sit next to the Delta. Given the same attitude and approach previously explored how can we add depth to this product

Create an object that acknowledges and celebrates that pivotal era when sportswear was elevated from a niche product to a lifestyle, when performance and fashion became blurred
Further diving into the brand principles of Art + Craft Identify how we can color-block through pattern development and evoke an expression inspired by Boris “Delta” Tellegen
Given the nature of our studio setup, challenged to not work in 2D and to strengthen a relationship with shoemakers and challenge the idea of communicating design through product building.

Being introduced to a new process often faced unique challenges but leaning on the team it allowed me to fully understand development and construction in order to effectively communicate the idea
Core Collection
Product Specifications: Italian pebbled leather sourced from French tannery Remy Carriat that's mineral tanned and hand-polished. Hand-lasted asymmetrical panels make up the upper and are complemented with orange contrast stitching, UV printed type accents, and French Plonge lambskin lining.
Launch: 2018
Summer Collection
Approach: Utilizing one leather hide for a set create depth by using both suede + leather sides
Strategy: Launch one key silhouette every 6 weeks
